Marola Padín Novas has an MA in Chinese Studies at SOAS, School of Oriental and African Studies. She has studied at the University of Santiago de Compostela and SOAS and she is currently an analyst at the OPCh (Observatory of Chinese Policy) in Galicia, Spain. She has research interests in the fields of cultural diversity, regional development, Chinese foreign policy, gender and the Internet.
Dr Kristie Thomas is a Lecturer in Business Law at Nottingham University Business School in the UK. Her research interests include legal developments in China, inter-national trade, international property rights, the WTO and its role in development, notably the development of legal systems in developing countries.
