Yingyao Wang is a Postdoctoral Fellow in International and Public Affairs, Brown University. Her current research maps the social landscape of the state. Based on her PhD in Sociology at Yale University she examines how social formations such as policy makers’ career trajectories, intellectual networks, and political cliques can be translated into formal organizational capacities and influence the pattern of state regulations over national economies. She has published and continuously writes about social and organizational theories.
